The Guidance Automation Toolkit (GAT) lets you build your own Guidance Packages, which are the Visual Studio add-ins that drive the Patterns & Practices Software Factories.

There are a set of hands-on-labs (called Architect HOLs) for the Smart Client software factory (see links at left). These HOLs provide an overview of how you can customize existing guidance packages, or create new ones for your use.
